It might be, if you don’t mind a little fire inside you.  The first version was designed to be a perfect chocolate chili stout – balanced and tolerable.  It was pleasant, but tasted too much of chili and not enough fire; something radical was needed.

We made a second version using pure capsaicin crystals and switched to coffee as the accompanying flavor. It was glorious. It tested the mettle of even the most hard-core chiliheads, and was generally only tolerable when taken as shots.

This is the third release, and we’ve toned it down to something a little more manageable for the casual thrill-seeker.  It’s now more of a pleasant wave of heat that passes without lingering, but leaves its mark in your memory.
