So this was brewed with a bunch of wheat in the grist, the intent being to give it a creamy white appearance that would mimic a Piña Colada. The first samples poured from the fermenter exactly as we’d hoped and tasted like a beer-y version of the famous drink. Then we neglected to bump it up on the packaging schedule and it spent an extra week chilling at 2°C, which cleared it right up. After packaging, we recovered all that beautiful protein haze from the bottom of the fermenter and gave it a proper funeral.
This otherwise lovely pale is infused with the pineapple and coconut parts.
